Attending a 1:1 meeting on your behalf

How your clone joins and behaves in one-on-one Google Meet calls.

Written by xDitto

Your clone can attend a 1:1 meeting on your behalf — a specific call at a given time, or a recurring one like a daily standup or weekly catchup.

How to ask

  • "Attend this meeting on my behalf: [URL]"

  • "Attend the project update meeting happening right now" (your clone looks it up on your calendar)

  • "Attend the project update call next Tuesday 8 AM"

If the URL or time is missing, your clone checks your calendar and confirms with you before joining.

During the meeting

Your clone converses naturally, as a 1:1 dialog — there's no need to wait to be called out, since it's just you and the other person.

What you get afterward

  • A meeting summary (not a transcript)

  • Follow-up actions for you

  • Anything flagged for your personal attention — decisions, commitments, or sensitive topics
