Attending external client or prospect meetings

Formal tone, approval-required, no unauthorized commitments.

Written by xDitto

Your clone can sit in on external meetings — a client check-in, a sales call, a demo — but it treats these more carefully than internal ones.

How to ask

  • "Attend the check-in call with [Client] and take notes"

  • "Sit in on the demo with [Prospect] next Thursday"

What's different from an internal meeting

  • External attendance needs your explicit approval every time — it's never automatic.

  • Your clone uses a more formal, brand-appropriate tone than in internal meetings.

  • It will never discuss pricing, discounts, contract terms, or timelines that weren't pre-approved by you.

  • It never makes a commitment on your behalf — if pricing or contract terms come up, it notes the ask and defers: "I'll have [you] follow up on that."

Every external ask and commitment request is flagged clearly in your meeting summary afterward.
